The company said the initiative would strengthen RWA infrastructure while creating a compliant pathway for tokenized assets in the United States. A transfer agent maintains official ownership records for securities and updates those records whenever transactions occur. These records determine shareholder rights, including dividend payments, voting privileges, and ownership verification. Injective said this function currently depends on traditional intermediaries operating offchain.  However, the proposed model would move ownership records directly onto blockchain infrastructure while preserving regulatory compliance. According to the network, compliant ownership records are essential for tokenized securities and real-world assets. It added that its blockchain can settle transactions in less than one second, allowing ownership updates to occur almost instantly.
