Fadnavis also instructed officials to study international regulations and successful tokenization models before finalizing Maharashtra’s legislative framework. The government intends to position Maharashtra as India’s first state with dedicated property tokenization legislation. An expert committee will prepare the proposed legal framework alongside experienced professionals from financial, legal, and blockchain industries.
